In a nation that prides itself on liberties and freedoms our country can now listen to your phone calls , read your E-mails , intercept your mail , remotely track your car in motion and a whole host of other big brother atrocities without warrants . So do pardon me if I think these Wiki-leaks are awesome and give the government a little taste of their own medicine . However in the end they’ll likely use them as an excuse to censor the internet and control it like every other public entity in America . In fact it might just be a ploy to do just that they’ve been waiting in the wings for an opportunity to force oversight and regulatory legislation on the last vestige of liberty Americans have , the internet . So do you think they are good or bad ?

Bad. If they weren’t intentionally allowed to happen, then the rest of the world will have little trust in us. No trust is very bad, as we rely on intelligence from all over the world to protect ourselves.

The govt has gotten big and out of control with its capabilities; however nothing good will come from the leaks. Like you said, the govt may now use this as a way to “secure” our e-borders, causing more govt control.
